Camera equipment is expensive, and there’s no way around it. Sometimes you just need that one angle that you can’t get with the gear you already have, or you want a fast lens for some killer bokeh or stunning astrophotography. It might be a lens you’ll only use once, or it might be a lens you want to test and put through it’s paces before you make the several thousand dollar commitment. Whatever the case, you want to work with someone who not only knows what they’re talking about, but someone who is also passionate about photography, and about your project. Craig is that person. 
From beginning to end, the whole process was smooth, painless, and about as easy as pushing a marble down a wooden hallway. It required next to no effort. Craig was quick to respond to my questions, and eager to help with other stuff, like making sure I was good for batteries. He supplied me with an emergency SD card in case mine filled up (which it did), and the lens I rented was well maintained, clean, and came in a little pouch with a lens cloth as well. Just in case it got a little grubby. It’s the small details that make an already great service, that little bit better. 
The only difficulty I encountered was with my project itself; when government agencies are involved, the red tape is thick and heavy. My project got delayed by a day, but Craig was more than happy to extend the rental to suit, and when I did eventually return to earth he was keen to see and talk more about the project and what I’d experienced. 
Lightchasers is one of the few companies that I’ll likely look to work with again on future projects, not just because they’re a breeze to work with, but they treat you like a person, not a dollar sign, and understand that each and every project is unique and has it’s own intricacies. 
NASA 747 Heavy was a difficult project to organise, but Craig made it that little bit easier.
